A Catcher in the Rye?

Some people have had their life start and end
While here I am,
Waiting for mine to simply begin
This 'wait' I fear deters me from living my- now
Inspiration I lack for taking an initiative; how?
Beastly deterrents; voices, noise, and lies
Roadblocks of all kinds and sizes

Pave my way; every place I try to walk by
Trip, fall, get up, back on up, come on, try
Tiring; this stance
Repetitive combat techniques
Perhaps a Catcher in the Rye?

Very rich poetic expressions !
Emotions ride...life gallops...attempting ever to shed its burdened saddle...and falters facing rocks and blocks of events...and Salinger finds one...we find ourselves....being caught in the Rye...instead...

Thanx so very much for not just dropping in, and not just reading, but also to leave me such a fabulous comment. I love hearing feedback from those who get the words...
