Splendid Journeys

Splendid journeys these, where in one fails to understand the self. The storms within, the bandages over used, and the morale booster shots that come and go... All in their seemingly empty zone, live - survive - trample - and then pass on by. We pick up the pieces, string them into pearls of wisdom, wear them like a noose around our neck and continue walking on this journey, waiting for the noose to tighten and for our wisdom to fall short, regardless of the pains with which it was gathered...

And then when one would want to least expect it... a final bell tolls, ending one's journey, only to start an eternally long one thus forth...
