Lacklustre Listless Existence

Listlessly observing my lacklustre stance;
feeling stifled, uninspired to care for much anymore.
They drag you down, and leave you for the dogs...
Or do you let yourself get dragged down and be left for the dogs?
Perhaps you become accustomed to allowing yourself to get dragged down and then be left for the dogs...

What is it...
Echoes that are hollow, or hollows that have echoes?

Where am I...

A place that I don't want to be in, or a place that I am meant to be in?

Why am I alone...

Because I did not find anyone, or because no one found me?

Who are we...

That which we are born to be, or that which we live to be?

Which is right...

Something that deep down feels so, or something that the world believes so?

How am I to know that this is it...

When I take my last breath, or when I feel contentment in all things?

Lacklustre listless existence feels good right now...
Back into it I recede,
Call me a hormonally incensed, deceased!

You ability to feel the struggle between will and fate, and liking my expression of it- together are humbling to me in ways superb!

Thanks much :)

Nicely written.

Thanx Nauky, and true that... indeed it so be...

Sowmya, its always great to hear someone get my words like as if their own! That kind of connection is the real deal of sorts, me thinks...

Im just sharing, glad people like yourself would actually stop to read and like it too, so thanx much! :)

Where destiny battles with deeds, none knows who is the victor, who the vanquished....only life lies trampled beneath with myriad corpses of dreams..
The most admirable smile of this page is it shines with leisurely elegance of some ignored pearls of thoughts that people cautiously sped fast in fear of getting stripped off to soul....

Dear Sir: I hope my calling you sir is acceptable. Your comment, has me reading deep into you interpretation of my words, and trust me it is SO enthralling how you do this. The first bit about destiny, I OH SO agree with! And as for the latter, i read it and re-read it and then re-re-read it yet again and went into a line of thought about how id have never realised it so (what you say) and now having read you say so, feel you've hit it right on the mark with that comment!

Thank you so very much for blessing my mere musings with your enlightenment and introspections, which give my little bits a whole new life through interpretations of yours!

I love it. I treasure it! :)

~Best wishes!
